Established in the year 2017, Vishwakarma University is a state-private university located in Pune, Maharashtra. Vishwakarma University also known as VU is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of Maharashtra( GoM)  and it is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi. The University boasts more than 25 MoU, 20+ Patents and multiple centers of Excellence and incubation centers, with many world class facilities packed in a campus of 20 acres. VU Pune admission is granted on the basis of the student's performance in their entrance exam and previously qualifying exam. Vishwakarma University courses offers 21 UG courses, 16 PG courses and a diploma. These courses are offered in various streams including engineering, science, arts, law, architecture, pharmaceuticals, and more.  Vishwakarma University Pune has been featured in the list of Among Global Top 50 Innovative Universities in the “Industrial Application” Category by WURI-2023 and Ranked among the top 10 Engineering Universities in India universities according to the Times B School Ranking of the year 2023.

For B.Tech admission, JEE Main is considered. B.Tech fees range from Rs 70,000 to Rs 3,10,000 per year. For Vishwakarma University MBA/ PGDM admission, CAT is considered. CAT 2024 is expected to be held on November 24, 2024.
