It is a private, autonomous college which is situated in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The college has been affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Ananthapuram (JNTUA). It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college has also been accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade as well as NBA. The college has also received the ISO 9001:2015 certification.The Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College courses are offered to interested candidates at the diploma, undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. There are a total of 4 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering, technology and computer applications. All the college courses are available to students in a regular, offline mode. The SVEC Tirupati admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate's performance in the relevant entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam. The college accepts a number of entrance tests for admission, including AP EAPCET (for B.Tech courses), AP ECET (for B.Tech lateral entry), AP PGECET (for M.Tech courses), AP ICET (for MCA course) and AP POLYCET (for Diploma courses).

SVEC Tirupati fees range from Rs 50000 to Rs 280000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 23 courses at UG, Diploma and PG programmes. Furthermore, SVEC Tirupati offers 9 courses in B.Tech at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 8 courses in M.Tech, 1 course in MCA.
