Srinivas University Mangalore is a private research university established in 2013 in Karnataka. The Karnataka State Act established it. The A. Shama Rao Foundation, a private charitable trust established in 1988 by renowned chartered accountant A. Raghavendra Rao, launched the Srinivas Group of Institutions, with Srinivas University serving as its flagship. Srinivas University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).Srinivas University fees are very reasonable, making education more accessible to every student. The fee structure at the university varies depending on the programme. Currently, there are 10 institutes at Srinivas University that offer about 160 undergraduate, postgraduate, and research courses that are innovative and industry-focused. The institutes are as follows: Institute of Management and Commerce, Institute of Computer and Information Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Institute of Engineering and Technology, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, Institute of Nursing Sciences, Institute of Aviation Studies, Institute of Physiotherapy, Institute of Allied Health and Sciences, and Institute of Education. Srinivas University courses are offered under numerous streams such as computer science and engineering, civil engineering, thermal power engineering, hospital administration, hotel and tourism management, cloud technology and information security, journalism and mass communication, software and web design, physiotherapy, hotel management, interior designing, and so on. To significantly improve the quality of the courses and degrees, the university has formed networks with numerous businesses, academic institutions, and service providers in the field of education.
