SNDT Women's University is India's and Southeast Asia's first women's university. Maharshi Dr Dhondo Keshav Karve established the university in 1916 for the noble cause of women's education. This university's first five female graduates were in 1921. The university's headquarters are in Mumbai's Churchgate Campus, and the university's other two campuses are in Mumbai's Juhu and Pune's Karve Road. The university has evolved into a multidisciplinary institution with a wide range of professional, technical, and liberal arts programmes ranging from K12 to PhD. SNDTWU is exceptional in terms of jurisdiction. While most universities in the country can only have state jurisdiction, SNDTWU can affiliate colleges/institutions anywhere in India with the state government's permission.SNDT Women's University is dedicated to empowering women via education, particularly higher education, and appropriate courses in both formal and non-formal streams. Summary

SNDT Women's University admission to BTech is based on the MHT CET 2024 score. MHT CET 2025 application forms are open till 15th February, 2025 and the exam will be held from April 9 to 27, 2025. For MBA and MMS admissions the CMAT exam will be conducted on 25th January, 2025, XAT will be conducted on the 5th of January, 2025; and the CAT Exam has already been held for the 2025 admissions. SNDT Women's University fee ranges from Rs 12,000 to Rs 4,68,000 in total.
