About SHUATS
Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS Allahabad) is situated in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. Established in 1910, SHUATS has received "A Grade" accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a subsidiary of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University was given an "A" rating by MHRD. Both the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the ICFRE (Indian Council of Forest Research Education) have given the accreditation to SHUATS in 2009 & 2010, respectively. Association of Indian Universities (AIU), International Association of Universities (IAU), Association of Commonwealth Universities, All India Association for Christian Higher Education (AIACHE) and Global Consortium of Higher Education and Research for Agriculture (GCHERA) all recognise the University as a member. Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences offers 203 courses across 16 streams namely Commerce and Banking, Design, Engineering, Management, and IT. Popular SHUATS courses include BSc, B.Tech, BA, BBA, and BPEd. Courses and Fees
SHUATS fees range from Rs 1500 to Rs 420000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 279 courses at PG, UG, Ph.D, Diploma and Certificate programmes. Furthermore, SHUATS offers 23 courses in BSc, 17 courses in B.Tech at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 80 courses in MSc, 48 course in M.Tech. Admission to SHUATS courses are open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts CSIR. In addition to this, scores of SHIATS Entrance Exam, CBSE 12th, ICAR AICE JRF/SRF, JEE, DU, UP, Allahabad, BHU, IGNOU, MP, JEECUP, NEET, UP 12th, UGC, UGC NET, B.Ed., NEET PG are accepted by SHUATS.
