Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj University or RTMNU Nagpur is one of India’s oldest state universities in Nagpur, Maharashtra. It was founded in 1923 to impart quality education through an enriched academic culture. Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj University is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-approved university named after a spiritual saint, a great orator, and a musician from Vidarbha.The huge RTMNU campus is rich in biodiversity and spiritual ecstasy. It is spread over 373 acres, consisting of 7 lush green campuses and estate buildings with extensive gardens. Currently, the university has 46 Postgraduate Teaching Departments (PGTD), 3 constituent institutions, and 503 affiliated colleges offering UG, PG, M.Phil, and PhD programmes to students from all over India and abroad. Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj University offers courses in law, engineering, medicine, management, and many other disciplines.RTMNU Nagpur has many academic collaborations with prestigious foreign institutions. The university has been ranked 51st in the pharmacy category in the NIRF Ranking List 2023. In 2022, its NIRF Ranking was 42nd in the pharmacy category. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked RTMNU Nagpur 139th among engineering colleges in 2021.
