As per the NIRF Ranking 2023, NLSIU Bangalore has bagged first place in the law category.National Law School of India University is situated in Bangalore and was established in 1986 after a notification was passed by the National Law School of India University Act. The university has been accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. The NLSIU campus is spread over 23 acres and it has been approved by Bar Council of India (BCI). As per the NIRF 2022 ranking, the NLSIU Bangalore ranked 1st in the law category.The responsibility of the chancellor of the university is taken up by the Chief Justice of India. Diverse law courses are offered by the NLSIU Bangalore. NLSIU Bangalore courses offers specialisation in human rights laws and business laws. NLSIU Bangalore courses provides Master’s in public policy, PhD programme, MPhil Degree programme, diploma course and Doctor of Law Degree (LLD). NLSIU Bangalore courses also offers distance education. For NLSIU Bangalore admissions to LLB courses, candidates have to appear for NLSAT and get valid marks.
