NIPS Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata is a private institute that offers various programmes under different streams of Hotel Management, established by NIPS Hospitality Group in 1993. The institute holds four branches in four different cities such as Kolkata, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, and Shillong.The institute has been approved by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. It is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), Government of West Bengal, formerly known as WBUT, and is accredited by the Indian Federation of Culinary Association (IFCA). NIPS Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata is a PBSSD-associated partner and a National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) approved training partner. Apart from this, NIPS Hotel Management also has an association with OTHM Education London, a UK-approved teaching institute. The institute was named 1st for Best International Placements by Black Swan Award, in 2020.Apart from this, the institute was also ranked 1st in Eastern India by The Pioneer Newspaper. The institute also conducts workshops with well-known chefs such as Michelin Trained Star Chef Michael Swamy, Celeb Chef Moumita, and Master Chef Judge Kunal Kapur.
