National Institute of Fashion Technology Navi Mumbai was established in the year 1995. NIFT, Mumbai is part of the 17 NIFT institutions located across India. The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai is a prestigious Institute of  Fashion Design and Fashion Technology. It has been a key player in measuring performance and processes in the fields of fashion education, research and development, training, and consulting. Located in the ‘Fashion Capital of India’ NIFT, Mumbai is the leading design institute in the city. Spread across 10 acres in Navi Mumbai, NIFT, Mumbai has well-equipped labs, machine rooms, smart classrooms, etc. It was established under the Ministry of Textiles, the Government of India's auspices. Students after graduating from NIFT, Navi Mumbai have been working as Entrepreneurs, Brand Managers, Quality Controllers, Designers, Fashion Coordinators, Merchandisers, Production Managers, Marketing Heads, etc. in leading national and international organisations. Some of the graduates have gone on to become successful brands in their own right. Summary

NIFT Mumbai admissions are based on entrance exam and qualifying exam. Admission to courses is based on the NIFT Entrance Examination, while for MFM, CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT are also accepted. Application for the NIFT Entrance Examination 2025 is expected to open in the 1st week of December 2024, the CMAT exam is expected to be held on May 2025, XAT registration closes on November 30, 2024; and the last date for CAT application is September 13, 2024. NIFT Navi Mumbai fees range from Rs 41,300 to Rs 11,74,000 annually.
