NIE Mysore accepts KCET scores for admission to BE courses. Admission to BE will start after the KCET 2024 result is released on May 20, 2024. For now, students can download the provisional answer key of KCET which was released by KEA on April 29, 2024. Students can check the KCET 2024 provisional answer key 2024 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. If candidates find any error then they can raise objection by May 7, 2024. KCET 2024 final answer key will be made public on May 10, 2024 (tentative). The National Institute of Engineering Mysore is an autonomous institution and was founded in the year 1946. The NIE Mysore admissions to some of the prominent courses are offered to the candidates on the basis of their performance in entrance exams like KCET, COMEDK, CET, PGCET and more. It is a grant-in-aid institution that has also been approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Visvesvaraya Technological University in Belagavi was affiliated with the National Institute of Engineering. In the year 2007, NIE Mysore received autonomy from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The NBA & NAAC has accredited the National Institute of Engineering with B++ grade. The National Institute of Engineering campus is spread over an area of 12 acres.
