About NIA Jaipur

National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur was established in 1976 to impart high-quality education standards in the Ayurvedic System of Healthcare under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, as an independent institution. National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur is a model institute to grow and promote Ayurveda due to its excellent standard of teaching, training, research works, and handling patients. The Government of Rajasthan introduced an independent Ayurvedic college in August 1946, which was later merged with the Ayurvedic institute at Jaipur on 7th February 1976 to form the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), which became the first Ayurvedic college to introduce the post-Graduation educational program in Ayurveda in the country. Later National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, introduced 14 specialist courses in a postgraduate program, undergraduate courses, regular fellowship program for Ph.D. with a diploma course in AYUSH Nursing & Pharmacy. The objectives of the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur (NIA) involves Development of the Ayurvedic healthcare system.Create scope of research works for bringing innovation in AyurvedaCare about the wellness of humanity by providing them better and sustainable treatment through Ayurveda. Innovate new teaching methods and patterns for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Provide higher education in Ayurveda courses to make better use of Ayurveda across the world. Developing the quality of higher education in Ayurveda to meet global requirements.Set up specialty health centers to cater to more excellent services for curing diseases and disorders. Contribute to creating a better and healthy environment for mankind with a disease-free life. Provide the best treatment facility in all spheres of Ayurvedic medicine. Provide training programs to foreign medical and non-medical professionals who are interested to learn the basic and upgraded knowledge of Ayurveda. National Institute of Ayurveda is located at Jorawar Singh Gate, Amer Road, Jaipur-302002. National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, has a NABH accredited hospital with 280 beds that caters to 1500 patients per day. The hospital has well equipped Pathology Laboratory and modern equipment for research work in drug standardization. National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur has been recognized by Guinness World Records, Bharat World Record, Golden Star World Records Forum, Everest World Records Certificate, Diamond World Record, Amazing Book of Indian World Record, Creative Records Certificate, and NABH for providing NASYAPANCHKARMA THERAPY simultaneously to 800 people during 1stRashtriya Ayurveda Yuva Mahotsav.National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, has international collaborations with reputed universities, institutes and organizations from Malaysia, Korea, etc. The institution also conducts various national and international seminars, national workshops, departmental workshops, orientation programs, training programs, and guest lectures for students and scholars. National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur has a Memorandum of Understanding with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Hospital and Research Centre, Wardha, Vrindavan Research Institute, and BVG Life Sciences Limited. The scholars from postgraduate and Ph.D. programs at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, participate and present their thesis in many national and international seminars, conferences, and meets. The institution also conducts special classes for students and regular teaching activities.

NIA Jaipur admission to BAMS in 2024 is based on NEET UG exam score. The NEET registration process for Round 2 will be conducted from September 5, 2024, to September 10, 2024. After qualifying NEET UG candidates need to register for the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) 2024 which is expected to start in the first week of September 2024.
