MIT University Shillong is a private university established in 2011 under section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act. It was founded by Dr Vishwanath D. Karad. The university is located in Umroh, Mawkasiang Village, New Shillong Township, Shillong -18, EKHD, Meghalaya. MIT University courses belong to UG, PG, executive and doctoral levels under 6 schools of education such as BCA, MCA, MBA, B.Des, and BBA, etc. The University offers several specialisations under these courses.
