MICA, also known as, Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad is an autonomous institution established in the year 1991 by the Mudra Foundation for Communications Research and Education (MFCRE). It is popularly known as MICA Ahmedabad. The college offers a total of four-degree programmes in a wide range of specialisations. MICA Ahmedabad courses are PGDM C, PGDM, CCC and FPM. The institute’s PGDM, PGDM C and FPM courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college considers CAT / XAT / CMAT scores for admission in PGDM C and PGDM programmes. In the management category of NIRF Ranking 2023, MICA Ahmedabad secured at 37th position.MICA Ahmedabad PGDM C programme is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and has equivalence to an MBA degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The college has collaboration with various national and international institutions. During MICA Ahmedabad placements 2022, companies such as Deloitte, Microsoft, Amazon, Paytm, and Flipkart participated. MICA highest package in 2024 was Rs 35,50,000. MICA campus covers an area of 19 acres. The campus has modern and upgraded facilities and infrastructure for students.

MICA admissions are granted based on the entrance exam and qualifying exam. Though the college conducts the MICAT exam, CAT/XAT/CMAT scores are also accepted. CAT exam has been conducted for the 2025 admissions and the result is available on the iimcat website. The CMAT exam will be held on 25th January, 2025 and the XAT exam is on January 5, 2025. MICAT Phase 1 has already been conducted and the results are out on the official website, while MICAT Phase 2 will be conducted on 25th January, 2025. MICA fees range from Rs 25,000 - Rs 21,00,000, depending on the choice of your course. The institute offered management courses at PG, Certificate, and Fellowship levels. PGDM and PGDM in Communications are the flagship courses available at MICA. Apart from that, it also offers a PG Certificate in Crafting Creative Communication and various online Certificate programmes. On the other hand, FPM programme at the institute is offered in specialisations such as Management, Communication, Marketing, Media and Entertainment, and Digital Marketing. The institute accepts CAT, XAT, and GMAT for PGDM/ PGDM-C admission.
