Maharishi University offers diploma, undergraduate, and, postgraduate courses in the streams of engineering, humanities, applied sciences, commerce, management, business studies, and, pharmaceutical sciences. The popular Maharishi University courses are B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, MBA, and, B.Com. All the courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Moreover, the university has ranked 129th out of 171 colleges in India in the Overall category as per the IIRF Ranking 2023. The Maharishi University ranking in 2022 was 115th out of 161 colleges in 2022. The fee structure at the university varies as per the course. The overall fee structure ranges from Rs 20,000 to Rs 1,30,000 for one year. Provision for education loan is also provided by the university due to its collaboration with Grayquest and Axis Bank. Apart from this, various Maharishi University scholarships are offered. The popular scholarships include concessions for wards of employees of the Maharishi Sansthan and students from the Sports/NCC/NSS quotas. The university has a 32-acre campus which is located on Sitapur Road, Lucknow. The campus is equipped with basic amenities like sports grounds, hostels for boys and girls, medical aid, a library, computer labs, etc. The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi facilities. For the Maharishi University placements, some of the top recruiters are Akash, Byju’s, Infosys, and, Bank of Kenya, among others. The university was established in 2001 and is a private university approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also often known as the Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT).
