KJSCE will start the admission process for BTech after the MHT CET 2024 result is released. MHT CET 2024 exams for the PCM group are ongoing and it will end on May 17, 2024. The exams are on the following dates May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17. Results will be announced in the second week of June 2024 (tentative). Counselling for BTech based on MHT CET for admission to KJSCE will be held from June to August 2024 (tentatively).Established in 1983, KJ Somaiya College of Engineering or KJSCE is one of the widely regarded engineering colleges in Mumbai, India. The college is a constituent college of Somaiya Vidyavihar University, a self-financed private university in Mumbai. As per the NIRF ranking 2022, the college was ranked in the 250-300 band in the engineering category.The KJSCE courses list includes B.Tech, M.Tech, doctoral, and certificate programmes in multiple specialisations Naturally, all these courses are offered in affiliation with Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The college is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Moreover, it was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade in 2017. The KJSCE campus is located within the Somaiya Vidyavihar complex. Students at the college enjoy all the facilities provided by the university complex. The Training and Placement Cell at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering offers required placement support to its students. Many well-reputed companies regularly visit the campus for KJSCE campus placements. In 2023, more than 409 students were placed by the college with an average package of Rs 9.78 lakh per annum. The highest package offered was Rs 25 lakh per annum.
