About KIIT
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology or KIIT or KIIT University is a deemed to be a university which was established in 1992. In 1997 it received the recognition of a university. KIIT is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The university is recognised by the UGC. KIIT has received international accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA and the Institution of Engineering and Technology, (IET), UK. In addition, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited KIIT with an A++ grade. KIIT courses are offered in the stream of science, commerce, arts, engineering, management, medical, etc. The university offers a total of 25 courses. Students can opt for popular courses such as BTech, BBA, MBBS, BDes, BArch, BDS, MBA, MCA, etc. KIIT admission is based on the KIITEE exam conducted by the university and other state or national-level entrance examinations. KIIT has a placement cell which places final-year students every year. In 2024, the KIIT placement report shows that the highest package offered to students is Rs 53 LPA and the placement percentage is 83.06%.

CAT 2024 application is open till September 13, 2024, and the exam will be held on November 24, 2024. For MTech admission, GATE 2025 application's last date is September 26, 2024. The GATE 2025 exams will be held in February 2025 on 01, 02, 15, and 16. Cutoff based on NEET UG for MBBS and BDS is now out for round one. KIIT fees range from Rs 192 to Rs 3,98,750 annually.

KIIT fees range from Rs 50000 to Rs 398750 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 44 courses at Diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D programmes. Furthermore, KIIT offers 8 courses in B.Tech, 4 courses in BA at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 3 courses in MSc, 3 course in MA. Admissions are offered to Diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D programmes based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
