Kaziranga University, also known as KU, is an autonomous university that was established in 2012. The university has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Apart from this, the university has also been accredited by AICTE and approved by PCI. The university is also a member of AIU.Kaziranga University has been ranked among the top universities in Assam for exceptional annual performance. Apart from this, the university has also been selected as a Mentor Institute among the top 50 universities. This award has been grabbed by the university as every student has a personal faculty member. KU has also set up a Centre of Excellence (COE) which focuses on assisting its students looking to undertake higher studies abroad.The Kaziranga University courses are offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The university offers 21 courses and some of the popular courses are BSc, BPharm, BTech, MSc, MPT, DPharm, etc. The university has set different eligibility criteria for different courses. For UG courses, candidates must have passed 12th with at least 45% aggregate and for masters, candidates must have passed graduation with at least 45% aggregate.Kaziranga University admission is based on the merit of the students as well as their performance in the entrance exams. Students who have valid scorecards for various entrance exams such as CAT, JEE, and GATE, are also eligible for admission to the university.As per Kaziranga University placements, the highest package offered was Rs 12 LPA.
