IIT Patna has been ranked 801–1000 in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking 2024. IIT Patna NIRF Ranking 2024 has been released. IIT Patna has ranked 41st in the engineering category and 66th in the overall category by NIRF India Rankings 2024. The Government of India recognised IIT Patna as an institute of national importance. IIT Patna courses are offered under ten academic departments. Students can pursue B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and PhD programmes. The institute offers numerous placement opportunities to its students. As per the official information released about IIT Patna placement 2024, 61 students of batch 2024 have received pre-placement offers (PPOs) from 22 companies. The highest package offered till now is Rs 82.05 LPA, and the average package offered is Rs 28.50 LPA. Indian Institute of Technology Patna, or IIT Patna, came into existence in 2008. It is one of the new IITs established by an Act of the Indian Parliament. IIT Patna campus stands in Bihar, 40 kilometers from Patna. IIT Patna has many facilities, such as equipment, software, and machines. IIT Patna facilities are implemented for educating & training students under various educational programs. For admission to B.Tech, the JEE Main 2025 exam is scheduled between 01 April and 08 April 2025 and the JEE Advanced 2025 exam is expected to be held on 18th May 2025, for MBA admission, the CMAT exam will be held in May 2025 and the CAT 2024 will be held on November 30, 2025, and for PhD, UGC NET is accepted, for which the exam will be conducted in the second week of June 2025. Courses and Fees

IIT Patna fees range from Rs 6000 to Rs 800000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 47 courses at Ph.D, Certificate, PG and UG programmes. Furthermore, IIT Patna offers 11 courses in B.Tech, 2 courses in BSc at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 10 courses in M.Tech, 4 course in MSc. Admission to IIT Patna courses are open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts GMAT. In addition to this, scores of JEST, CAT, MAT, XAT, COAP, CMAT, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE, IIT JAM are accepted by IIT Patna.
