Established in 2009, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi is one of the top management colleges in India. IIM Ranchi was set up with support from IIM Calcutta and the Government of Jharkhand, under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. IIM Ranchi has been ranked 24th in the management category in the NIRF Ranking List 2023. Its NIRF Ranking 2022 was 15th in the management category.The college offers admission to management courses. IIM Nagpur admissions are offered in MBA, MBA HRM, PhD etc. programmes. It is the only IIM offering a full-time MBA Human Resource Management (HRM) programme. IIM Ranchi accepts CAT scores for MBA, MBA HRM and MBA Business Analytics admissions. There has been remarkable growth in the last few years in terms of IIM Ranchi placements with major brands such as Cognizant, Accenture, ONGC, Tata Steel, Bosch, GAIL, Capgemini, ICICI, IBM etc. offering jobs to students. During IIM Ranchi placements 2022, the highest package offered was Rs 32,21,000.The institute has collaborations with overseas universities and has a student exchange programme for its students. Alba Graduate Business School, Greece, The American Business School of Paris etc. are some of the global partners of Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. The college provides merit and need based scholarships. IIM Ranchi campus has upgraded facilities and infrastructure for the convenience of students. 

Summary

IIM Ranchi provides MBA, PGDM, IPM, PGPM and PGPEx courses. Candidates need to qualify for the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) for admission to IPM courses at this institute, for which the application process begins in the second week of February 2025. For admission to MBA, CAT scores are accepted. The highest package offered to a student in 2024 at this institute was Rs 37.80 LPA while the average package was Rs 18.69 LPA. IIM Ranchi fees range from Rs 6,50,000 to Rs 17,50,000 lakhs.
