About IIIT Kota

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota is located in the state of Rajasthan. It is one of the 20 IIITs in the country. The students aspiring to build a career in the field of information technology and computer science can apply for IIIT Kota. The institute was established in 2013 to provide proper exposure to students in the technology field. The Institute of Information Technology Kota was set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Government of Rajasthan, and a few industry partners. A public-private partnership was maintained during the establishment of the institute. IIIT Kota has published its cut-off list for the current year. The work of setting up of the institute has not been completed yet, and currently, IIIT Kota functions from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur campus. The proposed campus for IIIT Kota is to be situated in Ranpur, Rajasthan. A huge area of about 100 acres has been granted to the institute by the State Government of Rajasthan for setting up the campus. IIIT Kota is run by three pivotal bodies that help the institute's smooth functioning. These bodies are the Governing Council, Executive Council, and Academic Senate.IIIT Kota looks for the betterment of the students by honing their skills and preparing them for the professional market. IIIT Kota fees range from Rs 100000 to Rs 200000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 5 courses at UG and PG programmes. Furthermore, IIIT Kota offers 3 courses in B.Tech at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 2 courses in M.Tech. Admission to IIIT Kota courses are open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts JEE Advanced. In addition to this, scores of JEE Main are accepted by IIIT Kota.
