Dayananda Sagar University is a private university, situated in Bangalore. It was established in the year 2014 and is a component of the Dayananda Sagar Institutions founded in the 1960s by the visionary educationist late Sri Dayananda Sagar. The university is managed by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeth Trust in Bengaluru. Dayananda Sagar University is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with the NAAC “A” grade. The institution came in first place at the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) India Regional Finals and is placed fourth among new universities by the Karnataka Rating Framework (KSURF). The "Best Private University South Award" has also been given to DSU by ASSOCHAM. Dayananda Sagar University courses are offered a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in technology, pharmacy, management, computer applications, sciences, the arts, and physiotherapy. Summary

Dayananda Sagar University admission are provided based on the qualifying exam and entrance exam. The minimum mark range required is 40%-50% depending on the course. For MBA admission, KMAT, CAT, MAT are accepted. KMAT will be conducted on 23rd February, 2025; MAT will be held on 9 and 23rd March, 2025; while CAT has already been conducted for the 2025 admissions. For B.Tech, JEE Main application forms are open till 25th February, 2025 (up to 9:00 P.M.) and the exam will be held from April1 to 8, 2025. For M.Tech GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.  Dayananda Sagar University fee ranges from Rs 2,79,000 to Rs 3,54,000 annually.
