COEP Pune accepts MHT CET for admission to the B.Tech programmes. MHT CET 2024 exam for PCM Group started on May 2, 2024 and will conclude on May 17, 2024. The answer key is to be released in the last week of May 2024 (tentative). This is followed by the MHT CET 2024 result which is expected to be released in the second week of June 2024 (tentative) for COEP Pune admission. From July to August 2024 (tentative), the MHT CET 2024 counselling process is to be conducted.The College of Engineering Pune or COEP was founded in 1854 and is regarded as one of the top colleges in Pune offering courses in the field of technical education on a global scale. COEP became a unitary public university in June 2024. The institute is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the institute with an ‘A+’ grade in 2023. Furthermore, COEP secured 72nd position in the engineering category in NIRF Ranking 2022 and 73rd position in the 2024 rankings. COEP courses list includes nine UG and 24 PG specialisations. Some of the popular degrees at the institute are B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, PhD etc. Besides a robust teaching pedagogy, COEP is also a leader in research and innovation. Focus is given to activities beyond academics at the campus which is evident from its infrastructure, extracurricular activities and national and international collaborations. The placement cell at the college provides training to students and prepares them for the professional world. Every year companies such as Google, Infosys, Reliance Jio, Tata Motors etc. participate in COEP Pune placements.

COE Pune admission to the B.Tech courses is based on JEE Main and MHT CET entrance exam scores. For MBA admissions, scores of entrance exams like MAT and ATMA are considered. The MAT IBT phase 2 exam will be conducted on August 23, 2024. Further, the MAT PBT exam date is August 25, 2024, for admission to the MBA course. The GATE 2025 registration process for the MTech courses will commence on August 24, 2024, and the exams for the same will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. COEP Pune fees range from Rs 18,750 to Rs 3,33,000 per annum.
Courses and Fees
COEP Pune fees range from Rs 48790 to Rs 410000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 59 courses at UG, PG and Ph.D programmes. Furthermore, COEP Pune offers 18 courses in B.Tech, 1 courses in B.Plan at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 25 courses in M.Tech, 8 course in PGD. Admission to COEP Pune courses are open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts MHTCET MTech. In addition to this, scores of UGC NET, MHT-CET, JEE Main, JEST, CEED, CSIR NET, GATE are accepted by COEP Pune.
