Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) Chengalpattu was established and conferred the status of deemed to be university u/s 3 of the UGC Act 1956 in the year 2008. Since its inception, it has made significant contributions to society and the country as an institution for higher learning and research in the field of Allied Health Sciences, Medicine, and Nursing.Chettinad Academy of Research and Education has received approvals from MCI, INC, TNNMC, AICTE, COA, BCI, and PCI, accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC, bestowed with 12B status by UGC, accorded SIRO status by DSIR, awarded a star by MHRD’s Innovation Cell, appreciation by AICTE for Clean & Smart Campus and stands 9th in the country in ranking by UI Green Metric.The vision of the university is “Capability, Character, and Commitment” and to stand by those values the institution offers academic programs which are job-oriented and innovative. Chettinad Academy of Research and Education courses include 74 unique professional academic programs to offer in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (AHS), Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Architecture, Commerce, and Law. Chettinad Academy of Research and Education admissions to these courses is done based on both merit and a valid score in entrance exams like CLAT, NEET, and others. This differs from program to program.
