Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran was founded in 2001 and is one of the leading colleges, offering over 55 courses in several domains: engineering, computer application, management, pharmacy, Hospitality, and so on. CGC Landran offers all of its degrees through 7 separate colleges, all of which are connected with IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), NCHMCT, and Punjabi University (Patiala). CGC Landran has a state government university affiliation (Govt Degree) and is accredited with NAAC (CGPA) of 3.42 on a 4-point scale.Engineering was initially the main degree among the CGC Landran courses, but as time passed, more and more courses were added to the curriculum, including MTech, BTech, MBA, and MCA. In 2021, Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran received the 4th Education Leadership Award and Excellence in Innovation & Research in WIEF, Start-Up India, and IALM. CGC Landran's Department of International Affairs has inked a new Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Creative Arts in the United Kingdom. CGC Landran course admissions are done on the basis of the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Moreover, the college has a strong global presence, with over 55 global alliances spanning across 15+ countries. This international reach is further solidified by the impressive number of 500+ students currently studying abroad. The institute has effectively assisted students in reaching their desired CGC Landran placement goals since the inception of the placement cell in 2001. The placement record is impressive, with over 1000 companies participating and more than 10000 placement offers made. The highest package offered reached Rs 50+ LPA. The college offers 55+ courses at Diploma, PG, and UG programmes. Furthermore, CGC Landran offers 20+ courses in B.Tech, 6 courses in BSc at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 4 courses in M.Tech, and 4 courses in M.Pharm. Admission to CGC Landran courses are open for the academic year 2025. For admission the college conducts PTU MTech. In addition to this, scores of CBSE 12th, PSEB 12th, GPAT, PTU BTech, NCHMCT JEE, JEE Main, and GATE are accepted by CGC Landran.
