BITS Pilani, a private deemed university, was established in 1964 in Pilani, Rajasthan. As the deemed university maintains a track record of offer quality education, BITS has been recognised as an “Institution of Eminence” by the Ministry of Education, India. National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited it with an 'A' grade with a CGPA of 3.45 on a four-point scale. BITS Pilani ranking has been in the band 801-850 as per QS World University Ranking 2025.BITSAT is the major exam for admission to integrated first degree courses like B.E, B.Pharm, and M.Sc at BITS Pilani. It also accepts entrance exams like GPAT, BAAT, GATE, and BITS HD. The deemed university offers a total of 12 courses.
