The Berhampur University, Brahmapur, Odisha, is India's one of the most renowned names in the Eastern Zone when it comes to a centre of par excellence in academics. The university is reputed for covering almost all the disciplines of technical and non-technical studies in arts, science, commerce, humanities, medicine, and engineering. BU has only one campus. The university has got a total number of students of approximately 1600 and a campus strength of at least 2000. On that note, the per year student intake capacity of the university of the institute has also shown a doubled rate from 16 per year in 1967 to almost 32 per year in 2020. Berhampur University admissions are based on the overall merit of the students. Berhampur University admissions are provided for MBA, MA, MTTM, MTech, MCA, MSc etc. Admissions are provided based on the entrance exam and qualifying exam. For M.Pharm, GPAT application is expected to start in April, 2025 and the exam can be expected to be held by June 2025. For PGD admission, CAT exam has already been held for the 2025 admissions. XAT will be held on 5th January, 2025, CMAT will be held on 25th January, 2025 and MAT will be held on 9 and 23rd March, 2025. For M.Tech admission, GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Berhampur University fee ranges from Rs 144 to Rs 70,000 per year depending on the course a student chooses.
