Ashoka University is a private university established in the year 2014. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Ashoka University Sonepat secured  64th position under the 'Asian University' category of the QS World University Ranking 2024. Ashoka University, Panipat secured a place in the 101- 105 rank band as per the NIRF 2024 ranking. To support students, it offers need-based and merit-based scholarships. Ashoka University offers 7 courses in arts, management and science streams. The campus of the university is spread over an area of 25 acres.
