TNDALU admission 2024 will begin in May 2024. The application form for the 5-year LLB course will be released in the last week of May 2024 tentatively. Admission for the same is likely to begin from June 2024. The merit list will also be released in June 2024 tentatively. TNDALU application form 2024 for 3-year LLB and LLM will be released in July 2024 and September 2024 respectively.Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University was established in the year 1997 by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University Act, 1996. It is a public state university which is situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. TNDALU is named after Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar (an Indian jurist, social reformer, and architect of the Constitution of India). The university was inaugurated on September 20, 1997 by K.R. Narayanan. TNDALU Chennai has been recognised by UGC and approved by the Bar Council of India. It has been accredited by NAAC. It is also associated with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Association of Commonwealth Universities, UK and the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New DelhiThe TNDALU Chennai courses are offered to interested candidates at all certificate, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There are a total of 26 courses offered to students in the stream of law to interested candidates. All the courses at the university are offered in offline, regular mode to the students. The TNDALU Chennai admission to all the UG, PG and certificate courses are offered on the basis of the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. For admission to the integrated UG courses, candidates must have to pass class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks. To become eligible for an LLM course, candidates must have an LLB degree from a recognised university.The TNDALU Chennai campus is spread over an area of 4.2 acres and offers students a variety of facilities such as a gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking services, a full-fledged library, a canteen, and more. The college also has a dedicated placement cell to carry out placement-related activities. To give students the chance to start their careers before even finishing their studies, the TNDALU Chennai placement cell along with the participating recruiters conducts placement drives every year. The college hosts many events, including training sessions, pre-placement interviews, webinars and seminars, among others, and has a history of providing candidates with 100% placement data over the years. As per the NIRF 2024 report, 530 UG students and 85 LLM students were placed in the TNDALU Chennai placement drive. An average salary package of Rs 6.5 Lakhs per annum was made available to UG (3-year) and UG (5-year) students.
