Symbiosis Institute of Design, often known as SID Pune, began operations in 2004 at a temporary site on SB Road. The design college relocated to its permanent site in Viman Nagar, Pune, in 2006. India Today and Outlook I Care 2021 rate the college second in fashion design. SID Pune provides a Bachelor of Design degree in four key disciplines: communication design, industrial design, fashion design, and fashion communication.Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, formerly known as SID was founded in 2002 in Pune, India. Students can pursue degree programs in design, fashion, and technology from the college. The institute offers various undergraduate design courses available at the college. The students must appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Design (SEED) examination. The college has a campus of acres, world-class facilities, highly qualified faculty, and deep corporate partnerships. SID Pune, aims to develop students' physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual faculties and prepare them to be future entrepreneurs and managers. SID Pune is accredited by NAAC- 'A' rating. SID has a dedicated training and placement cell that assists students with their placements. Infosys, Autoline Industries Ltd., Cognizant, Whirlpool, Mudra Communications, Aapna Infotech, Art Company Decor, Book My Show, BuzzFactory, and many more are among the top recruiters. The highest package offered was Rs 10 lakhs per annum, and the average package stood at Rs 4 lakhs per annum.
