Raipur Institute of Technology (RITEE), a Chhattisgarh-based private technical institution, was established in 1995 under the aegis of the Mahanadi Education Society. The Mahanadi Education Society is a group of eminent technocrats, industrialists, and management professionals that has been on a mission to uplift the state's technical education landscape since its inception. Raipur Institute of Technology was the first among a series of higher education institutions under its umbrella that focuses on providing quality and industry-oriented technical education to aspiring students. RITEE Raipur is recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the State Government Directorate of Technical Education and is affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University Bhilai (CSVTU).
