Pithoragarh Group of Institutions Pithoragarph is a privare college established in 2016 by two young entrepreneurs from Uttarakhand, Mr. Jitendra Haneri and Mr. Dharmendra Haneri, with the goal of providing quality and affordable higher education in the fields of Nursing, Paramedical, Hospitality, Management, Agriculture, Horticulture, Management, and Information Technology. PGI Pithoragarh is affiliated to HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Kumaun University and Soban Singh Jeena University. Three colleges make up PGI: Pithoragarh Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Pithoragarh Institute of Technology & Management, and Pithoragarh College of Nursing. The Institute is also approved by the Uttarakhand government and accredited by the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council and the Uttarakhand Paramedical Council. PGI Pithoragarh has affiliations for 432 beds with hospitals such as BD Pandey District Hospital Pithoragarh, District Mahila Hospital Pithoragarh, Base Hospital Pithoragarh, and Sub District Hospital Pithoragarh for Clinical Practise and Practical Exposure. PGI Pithoragarh offers full-time nursing programmes such as GNM and B.Sc. Nursing. The syllabus for these courses is based on the syllabus of the Indian Nursing Council in New Delhi. The institute also offers courses such as BBA, BCA, BHM etc.
