
About NUJS Kolkata
The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS or NUJS) is a National Law School located in Kolkata, India. It is commonly known as NLU Kolkata. NLU Kolkata was established under the WBNUJS Act 1999 and is affiliated with the Bar Council of India. NUJS is considered one of the best elite national law schools offering various courses at the UG and PG levels. NUJS UG courses include a five-year integrated BA/B.Sc LLB (Hons.) programme and NUJS PG courses include LLM and M.Sc. The university also offers certificate and research programmes. NUJS admission to LLB Integrated and LLM programmes are based on CLAT. Whereas admission to other NUJS courses is based on eligibility criteria, entrance tests and personal interviews conducted by the university itself. In the NIRF Rankings 2024, The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences has secured 4th rank in the Law category. The main campus of the university is located in Salt lake, Kolkata.
