Established in 2005, Maulana Abul Kalam University of Technology, Kolkata is a public institution. The university was formerly known as The West Bengal University of Technology. The university aims towards impairing value-based and quality education for solving real-life problems. It works towards institutionalising the extension and field outreach activities with a view to transforming the university system.
