KKR & KSR Institute of Technology & Sciences is a college approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It is affiliated with JNTUK Kakinada and is accredited with grade "A" by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). KKR & KSR Institute of Technology & Sciences college campus spreads over 11 acres of land. The vision of the college is to produce eminent and ethical engineers and managers for society by imparting quality professional education with an emphasis on human values and holistic excellence.The KITS courses are offered in 7 undergraduate specialisations in B.Tech degree and 4 postgraduate courses. M. Tech. EEE, ECE, CSE, CAI, CSD, CAIML, IT, ECE-IOT, CSE-AIML, CSE-DS, and MEC-ROBOTICS are the various specialisations of the KKR & KSR Institute of Technology & Sciences courses. Admission to KITS Guntur is offered on the basis of AP EAMCET for B.Tech programme and AP PGECET/GATE for M.Tech programmes. The college also provides placement assistance to the students and has tie-ups with multiple good companies. It has a dedicated KITS placement cell which coordinates the working of the cell.

AP EAMCET results was released by APSCHE on the official website on June 11, 2024. The counselling process will start thereafter. Candidates with valid marks will take part in the counselling process in July 2024 (tentative). Candidates can choose from various B.Tech specialization such as CSE, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology among others. The annual fees of B.Tech at KITS Guntur is from Rs 1.29 lakh.
