The GMC Amritsar MBBS admission 2023 is being held based on the counselling process of Punjab NEET. The authorities will release the round 2 provisional results on August 25, 2023. Further, the Punjab NEET counselling final result for round 2 will be made available on August 28, 2023. The last date for reporting to college is September 4, 2023. Baba Farid University is conducting the Punjab NEET counselling 2024. On August 21, 2023, the round 2 choice filling process was concluded. Before that, the round 2 merit list for GMC Amritsar admission 2023 was made available on August 16, 2023. Candidates were able to check the round 2 seat matrix of GMC Amritsar on August 10, 2023. GMC Amritsar courses include the specialisations from undergraduate, diploma and postgraduate programmes. The popular courses at Government Medical College Amritsar include Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) Courses. The Diploma in Child Health and the Diploma in Anaesthesia is also offered at GMC Amritsar. Government Medical College Amritsar came into being as a Medical School in Lahore in 1864.  Up until its later move to the city of Amritsar in 1920, the School carried on its operations in the capital of the then-undivided Punjab. GMC Amritsar is a part of the Punjab Government and is managed by the Directorate of Research & Medical Education in Mohali. The college is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The University controls admissions to the state quota seats of the college's paramedical, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes.
