About GCE Gaya
Gaya College of Engineering is situated in Gaya in Bihar state of India. Established in 1981 it is a government engineering college. It is managed by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of Bihar. It is approved and recognised by AICTE and is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University in Patna. It was formerly named ‘Magadh Engineering College (MEC)’ from 1980 to 1994; now it is a public institute under the name of ‘Gaya College of Engineering (GCE)’.Gaya College of Engineering courses include UG and PG programmes in engineering. Various specialisations are offered under these programmes. Gaya College of Engineering admission is based on the performance of the students in the entrance exams. Gaya College of Engineering placements are guided by the placement cell. Every year some reputed companies visit the Gaya College of Engineering campus during placement drives to recruit eligible students.
