Gazole Mahavidyalaya (GM) is affiliated with the University of Gour Banga (GBU) and has an illustrious belief that contributes to its own culture. It was established in the year 2006 to impart knowledge based on higher education to the people of SC, ST-prone areas. Gazole Mahavidyalaya is serving the cause of education upliftment not only for the students coming from different parts of Malda but also for a large number of students from the northern part of the state. Gazole Mahavidyalaya is a private institution that offers two courses encompassing two streams, namely, Arts and Education. The popular degree offered at the college is BA. Besides a robust teaching pedagogy, the institute is a leader in research and innovation. Focus is also given to activities beyond academics at GM West Bengal which is quite evident from its infrastructure, national and international collaborations, and extracurricular activities. The placement at Gazole Mahavidyalaya is varied with recruitment options available in the corporates, the public sector, and entrepreneurship. Gazole Mahavidyalaya is located very close to NH 34 towards the west.
