Established in 1979, the college is recognised by UGC and the courses offered at the college are approved by AICTE. Some of the DSCE courses are also accredited by NBA. The college has received an A grade from NAAC as well. Courses offered at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering comprise 18 BE programmes and 13 postgraduate programmes. DSCE has a total of 20 research centres and is recognised by VTU. It has received research funding of Rs 4 crore from leading organizations like ISRO, DST, DBT, and DRDO.Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering admissions are done on the basis of entrance exams like CET/COMED-K for BE, DCET for BE lateral entry, PGCET for M.Tech, MBA and MCA. KMAT is also accepted for admission into MBA and MCA courses.Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has a dedicated placement cell taking care of all the placement-related activities. The median salary received for UG programmes and PG programmes as shared in the DSCE placement report 2022 was Rs 5 LPA and Rs 4.5 LPA, respectively. Some of the top recruiters in the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering placement drive 2022 were Mu Sigma, Hitachi, AMD, HP, Textron, TCS, Mindteck, Texas Instruments and KPIT. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering campus is spread over 23 acres of land and infrastructure is regularly modified as per the latest requirements. Laboratories with updated equipment and machines, a central library, a digital library, a wi-fi equipped campus with a large bandwidth internet facility, etc are some of the facilities that the students at this college enjoy. Summary

DSCE BTech admission is based on scores obtained in COMEDK and KCET exams. The COMEDK 2024 exam has ended and the final answer key is scheduled to be released on May 21. Results for the COMEDK 2024 exam will be available from May 24, 2024, onwards. KCET 2024 results can be downloaded from May 20, 2024, onwards. DSCE  course list includes courses like BTech, BArch, MTech, MBA, etc.

Courses and Fees

DSCE fees range from Rs 65000 to Rs 1700000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 40 courses at UG and PG programmes. Furthermore, DSCE offers 15 courses in B.Tech, 1 courses in B.Arch at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 15 courses in M.Tech, 8 course in MBA. Admission to DSCE courses are open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts COMEDK UGET. In addition to this, scores of JEE Main, KCET, Karnataka PGCET, GATE are accepted by DSCE.
