Since its establishment in 1941, Doaba College in Jalandhar has been at the forefront of high-quality, traditional, and professional education. Doaba College Jalandhar (Punjab) is a pioneer North Indian multi-faculty postgraduate co-educational institution. It has a long and illustrious history dating back 74 years. The visionary founding fathers, Sh. Bindraban Sondhi, Rai Bahadur Badri Dass, Sh. Jagan Nath Mittal, and Acharya Lajja Vati, were Arya Samaj Legends and Independence Freedom Fighters who founded Doaba College in 1941 to preach Maharishi Swami Dayanand's ideology.Doaba College courses are offered in 14 undergraduate &10 postgraduate programs, along with 6 add-on courses. The institution boasts a large, lush green Wi-Fi-enabled campus that spans 21 acres, as well as 65 airy and roomy classrooms, both traditional and ICT-enabled, that can comfortably accommodate the available number of students. Hi-tech Seminar Hall, Multi-media Hall, Multipurpose Hall, and Virendra Auditorium all promote a healthy learning environment. The Doaba College infrastructure features fourteen scientific labs, six computer labs, and two geography labs, all of which are completely equipped with the latest technology.Doaba College Campus has large playgrounds, a DBT-Botanical Garden, a Green House, a Rose Garden, Computer Labs, a Sports Gymnasium, a Multi-Media Hall, a Hi-tech Studio, an Open Air Theatre, a Boys' and Girls' Hostel, and a rich Library all help students develop their personalities and become potential human resources for national development.All merit holders and the first 20 students in the district who receive 95% or more in Board/ University examinations receive free enrollment and textbooks for the entire semester.
