DIT University or Dehradun Institute of Technology is a private university accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation  Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade. The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the International Association of Universities (IAU). DIT University is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Council of Architecture (COA). For its overall excellence, DIT University has been awarded the Diamond rating by QS IGAUGE. The university is approved by the government of Uttarakhand, UGC and the Nepal Engineering Council.
