AIT Pune has started the admission process for the academic year 2024-25. Established in 1994, Army Institute of Technology (AIT) is an engineering college in Pune. The institution was established when Gen B.C. Joshi, PVSM AVSM, ADC (1935–1994), the then Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, realised the need for an engineering college for the children of the personnel of all ranks in the Indian Army. It offers undergraduate courses in computer engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, information technology, and mechanical engineering, and a postgraduate course in mechanical design. All the AIT courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
