Amity University Punjab was established in 2021 by the not-for-profit Amity Foundation. It is the eleventh university established by the Amity Group. With a vast hi-tech campus of 40 acres, the university is located 10 minutes away from the Chandigarh International Airport. The university is recognised by UGC (University Grants Commission). It is Asia's only not-for-profit university to get the highest accreditations by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), the USA, and the QAA (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education), UK. The university is also accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. Amity University Punjab is a multidisciplinary university offering more than 90 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
